Information about public officials

Last updated 21 October 2026

BidNomy shows how the Australian Government buys. This page says what we show about the people involved, where it comes from, and how to ask us to fix or remove it.

No contact people

BidNomy shows no contact names, phone numbers or emails from tenders or procurement plans. To contact an agency about a notice, follow the link to the notice. The only people we name are ministers, from the official Ministry list.

What we show

WhatWhere it comes fromWhy
Ministers, by name: name as published, title, portfolio and rank. No contact details. The Ministry list of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, as at 1 July 2025.Ministers answer by name for their portfolios. The government publishes the list so the public knows who they are.
Roles, not names: titles such as “Chief Information Officer”, and who is accountable for each body (for example “Secretary of the Department”).Directory.gov.au, and the Department of Finance’s PGPA Bodies List.So you know which part of an agency does what.
Official contact points: agency websites, switchboard numbers, shared mailboxes such as enquiries@, and public enquiry lines.Directory.gov.au.So you reach the agency through its own front door.

Each item links to its official source, in the source’s own words. We do not edit names or titles. The Ministry list is published by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. The data sources page lists every dataset and its licence.
