Suppliers

Every supplier, what they won and from whom.

Suppliers

The Suppliers list ranks companies, not ABNs: each card is one company with every ABN and spelling it publishes under, payees with no ABN included, and its Won and Contracts are its total on Contracts for the same filters — Commonwealth contracts, all years. It opens on a Summary (how many suppliers, total won, contracts and agencies, with each company's share, the top agencies and value by month of start, and a card per category with its last 12 months as bars); Items is the list, and a card opens the company's page, which lists its ABNs.

A supplier profile is what a company has won, from whom, in what, and which panels let it bid. Its State awards figure is contract awards and their value, with the state standing offers it holds counted beside them and never added to the value — a standing offer is an arrangement to buy from, not a sum anybody was awarded, and what is bought under it is already one of the contracts. A supplier's ACT payments are a tile of their own beside the award figures, never inside them. A panel or multi-supplier award is split between its suppliers, evenly unless the state publishes each supplier's amount, so the value is the company's share and matches the state Market pages.

First award and Last award run across Commonwealth contracts and state contract awards: the earliest start date and the latest publication date of either. An ABN's page has its own State awards figure, counting only the awards published under that ABN. Where the ABN belongs to a company, its Company figure links to the company's page with how many entities it holds, and Won and Contracts say This ABN only. On a company's page, the table of its entities gives each ABN and name spelling its own state awards; an entity with no contracts and no state awards is folded away. A name spelling opens Contracts filtered to that one entity — its Commonwealth notices and its state awards — and an entity's state awards count opens just those awards; an ABN opens its own page.

At the bottom of a company's page, and of an ABN's page, State and territory shows two tiles side by side: State awards (contract wins) and ACT payments (invoices paid). The two are never added together. See these awards opens Contracts filtered to the same state awards the tile counts — the company's, or that one ABN's — and a company's Contracted and Contracts figures open its Commonwealth notices only. About this figure under each tile explains what is counted. Every publisher whose data makes up the figures is credited in the Sources fold under the tiles.

Supplier identity is keyed on ABN rather than the name string an agency typed into a notice, because name-keyed counting invents new entrants out of rebrands and typos — and new-entrant and win-rate analysis is worthless if it does. A company's page gathers every ABN it trades under.

A company that has won only from the states has a page too: its Commonwealth figures read zero and its State awards tile carries the record. An ABN named only by a state publisher opens the same way, with a link to its company's state awards. When two companies are found to be one, the old company link opens the one they were merged into.
